Union of the Ministry of Education
The history of the Union of the Ministry of Education is thoroughly connected with the last half century history of the Ministry of Education. The present union was reorganised following the division of Ministry of Culture and Education in 1998 and the organisation of the Ministry of Education. The Union of the Ministry of Education has carried out important activities and has achieved serious result in the terrain of interest representation, social support, services and retraining.

Union of the Ministry of Finance
The Union of the Ministry of Finance was founded in 1989. The objective of the organisation is to perform the interest representation and protection of trade union members.

Union of the Workers of the Public Prosecutor's Office
The Union of the Public Prosecutors' Office (ÜDOSZ) was created on 24 January, 1990. The ÜDOSZ is an independent and autonomous workers' interest representation organisation. ÜDOSZ aims, first of all, to represent and protect the employees in their employment relationship and to inform them on material, social and cultural issues and professional further training and to represent them in questions concerning their employment relations. The member of ÜDOSZ can be every active employee of the prosecutor's office and the National Institute of Criminology and Criminalistics with no regard his or her status, and also the retiree of the procurator's organisation.

Union of Workers in Informatics
The Union was founded in 1990, and represents the interests of the workers in informatics. The basis of its activity is the workers' solidarity. The Union is present in the whole country. For the membership can apply: - the workers of enterprises in the informatics, creating a workplace organisation or - the workers in informatics working in another type of enterprises or institutions can apply for individual membership; - the tele-workers can apply for individual membership as well; - everybody working with computer can be individually member.

Union of the Workers of Traffic Control Authority
The Union of the Workers of Traffic Control Authority was founded in 1992 initiated by the same employees within the circle of civil servants working at the Traffic Control Authority. The members of the Union are mostly clerks in the railway and naval authority.

Union of the Workers of Traffic Control in the County Győr-Moson-Sopron
It was established in 1993. Shortly it has became clear that due to the civil servants' scope of jobs within the unified traffic control authority and the role of workplace in the civil service, the interest representation of the workers can be performed within the framework of a federation in the public services. In 1994 the union joined in the KSZSZ and since then it has been member of KSZSZ. Its unionisation rate is high: 85%.

Union of the Civil Servants at Geological Institutes
The Union of the Civil Servants at Geological Institutes (GEODOSZ) was established in 1994 to stand for the interests of the civil servants at the geological fields. It is a democratic organisation built from. Among their members we may find between 1995-2006 the Hungarian Geological Service and later from first of January, 2007 the specialists working in the field of geology (mining engineer, geologist, geophysicist) and other specialists (informatics, legal area) in the Regional Mining and Geological Authorities of the Hungarian Office for Mining and Geology. Among the activities of GEODOSZ we find not only the interest representation of the employees but according to the demand of the members sport, cultural and social activities as well.

Union of the Workers of the Hungarian Meteorological Service
The Union of the Workers of the Hungarian Meteorological Service was created in September 1990. Its objective is to represent the interests of the workers and pensioners of the Hungarian Meteorological Service.

National Trade Union Council of the Statistical Directorates
The National Trade Union Council of the Statistical Directorates (STATISZT) was founded in 1989 by base (local) organisations belonging to the county directorates of the Central Statistical Office, formerly belonging to the county level organisations of Trade Union of Public Services Its objective is: to visualise, mediate and protect the common interests of the member unions, according to the rights and duties fixed in the Constitution, Labour Code and later in the Civil Servant Act and other legal instruments concerning the trade unions. The STATISZT unionisation rate - taking into consideration the number of its members and the total number of employees working at its field of activity - is more than 50 %.

Union of the Central Office of Statistics
The trade union was established in 1990. It represents the active employees and the retired workers of the Central Office of Statistics (KSH) and Institute of Demographic Researches (NKI). Within the Central Office of Statistics the union casually cooperates with the union of territorial organisation of Central Office of Statistics, the STATISZT. The union is led by the Secretary. The decisions are taken by the Body of the Senior Shop Stewards. The Secretary represents the jointly shaped standpoints. 

Union of the Workers in Veterinary Hygiene and Food Inspection
Union of the Workers in Veterinary Hygiene and Food Inspection was created in November 1989. The union includes 18 county level base (local) organisations. From 1 of January 2006 the union carries out the workers' interest representation of the veterinary inspection service belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Since 1995 the union was member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Interest Reconciliation Council and it is represented as well on the employees' side of the Civil Servants' Interest Reconciliation Council.

Union of Organisations for Working Condition and Work Safety
The Union of Organisations for Working Condition and Work Safety (MMSZSZ) was established in 1997. The organisation is open, not only the employees of the Hungarian Labour Inspectorate are entitled to enter but also the employees of the labour market organisations (Labour Centres) can do it. The objective of the organisation is to perform the interest representation and protection of trade union members. Its task is to assess, represent and mediate the legal, economic, social and cultural interests of the membership and to practice the trade union rights according to the law.

Union of the Workers of National Insurance
The Union of the Workers of National Insurance was created in 1989. It fulfils the interest representation of employees in the pension insurance and health insurance. From 1990 the union was member of the Confederation of Unions of the Professionals. The Union of the Workers of National Insurance has 42 base (local) organisations in the whole country. In the pension insurance branch the interest representation is performed at regional level and in the health insurance branch at county level.

National Union of Workers in Tax and Financial Control
The National Union of Workers in Tax and Financial Control (ADOSZT) was created in November 1989, by now it has 25 base (local) organisations on the whole territory of the country. Its envisaged aim and task is the interest representation and the creation of better working and living conditions of the employees working in the Tax and Financial Control Office and its territorial organs. 

Sports Trade Union
The Sports Trade Union was created in 1990. It organises the employees of central and local sport institutions of the country. The employer can be local government, enterprise or sport club.

Trade Union of the Workers of Hungarian Red Cross
The trade union was organised on 13 January, 1999. Its scope of activity first of all includes interest representation and self-aid.                                                                    

National Trade Union Council of Workers in Tourism
The union waits the employees working in tourism independently from the type of owner.

Council of Pension Issues for the Federation of Hungarian Public Service Employees Unions
In 1999 the Federation of Hungarian Public Service Employees Unions concluded that only a national level collaboration could put forward the pensioners' economic, social and other interests. As the national level collaboration appeared to be the only way to force the governments at power to meet the claims of the retired people, the Council of Pension Issues has been created. The Council sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly maintains relation with the just actual government and other national organs and - in many cases successfully - tries at Federation level to debate and solve the questions on pension system

Union of Young Public Servants
The Union of Young Public Servants was established in 1995 as result of young employees' cooperation, working in the fields of public administration, taxation, legal activities, courts, prosecutor office, army, home office, cultural activities and public collections. As result of the union international work, well performing long term relations have been established with the German DBB-Jugend. These working relations to a great extent contribute to the success of the work and the achieved results.
